The Nutcracker and The Mouse Queen
The original story of The Nutcracker, written by E.T.A. Hoffmann as “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King,” follows Marie, a young girl who receives a nutcracker doll on Christmas Eve and discovers that he comes to life. She becomes caught in a magical battle between the Nutcracker and the Mouse King, eventually learning that the Nutcracker is actually a cursed prince who can be restored through courage, love, and belief in the magical world.
